| Covers both Standard and Toy, though it has more on the Toy -- the author breeds Toy Manchesters for the show ring. History and characteristics of the Manchester. Also the standard care advice for all dogs, which could be left out. It's the best coverage out there and has useful information for both the pet owner and the conformation person. Just wish it had more information on Standards, more on disposition (though this is covered), and less on general dog care. |

This a book that fully describes the breed down to the smallest of things. It's well illustraded and full of hints and winks on how to get on with you manchester terrier as well as your toy manchester terrier. The author of this book has really put his heart into this book and that shows troughout the whole book.
You get to know everything(almost) you need to know from the minute you bring your pup home and all the way till it's getting old and grey.
A pleasure to read an easy to love book with great pictures and lots of knowledge. |
