| Not for the average pet owner! However, the detailed analyses are very accurate, and demolish many long-standing myths about canine structure - such as a 'universal trot' for comparing all breeds, or the mythical 45 degree shoulder layback that is *still* part of many breed standards. The material here is backed up by actual measurement data, instead of just oft-repeated assumptions. Consider this a detailed, scholarly reference for understanding canine trotting biomechanics, not a light 'coffee table' presentation of dogs in motion. |
