I had seen a programme on TV about the Pet Detective and had to read the book. What a great story! The book is doing the rounds of all my friends at the moment. My dog was stolen from our back garden when he was only a pup. It took me three weeks to find him. I was lucky I got help from Breeders, a retired Police Detective, Security Guards and a number of other people out of the goodness of their hearts. I found out he had been sold to someone else and before I could track them down my dog managed to escape from their residence and make his way back home. It was such a dreadful time I will never forget. It was around Halloween and I had heard terrible stories of pets ending up on bonfires, but thank the Lord that didn't happen. But how wonderful it would have been to have an actual Pet Detective by my side during that horrific time!
My full admiration goes out to Kat Albrecht for her courage and dedication, the marvelous work she does and her extraordinary dogs. Thank God for special people like Kat! |
