My daughter started showing 4H Showmanship with her dog in 2002 at the age of 8/9.(In a rabbit club since no dog club was available) Her Standard Poodle was 18 mos old at her first show. She won and qualified for our State Fair. Since then she has shown twice more at county level qualifying both years for the State Fair. In 2004 the book again was reviewed and used. Her last show she showed against AKC Jr Handlers and was top Junior at the fun match. (She used an unregistered poodle and they beat dogs that had their championships.)
I would definately recommend this book. I do wish Anne would do a video on Jr Showmanship. This book is my Jr Showmanship bible. |
