Great Beginner Book, February 13, 2006
Reviewer: Mary-Lynn Jensen, Ph.D.
Found this book through one of my puppy buyers and will be sending it home with all new show pups in the future. A wonderful resource with everything the novice conformation exhibitor needs to know. Great photos, clear & concise explainations from two ladies who know what they're talking about. A **MUST HAVE** for all new show people!

This book has all the basic elements needed to start training a show pup. It contains step-by-step pictures for stacking that even novices like me can understand and has positive suggestions for dealing with young pups. It also contains a complete explanation of the judging procedures and point systems for dog shows. It is not breed specific (which my poodle finds upsetting!), but the skills are useful to all breeds. A great book and worth the money!
