I understand that this is a collection of essays written by various members, gathered, edited, and published. Wait a sec, they weren't EDITED very well. The information is decent, and as a rank beginner, I'm reading it cover to cover and taking in everything I can, but PLEASE correct the poor grammer, writing styles, and spelling! Now I think of this whenever I see the editor's name on other books...
Since I'm just learning, I'm trying as much of the training as possible, but I need the basic training exercises explained and illustrated. I've learned a lot about the sport. The book came recommended to me, and I would pass it along as long as the writing & editing issues are addressed. |
