| I was extremely impressed by this DVD, as it makes it easy to understand Derrett's points about the fine details of basic handling. I never cease to be amazed at how much difference a tenth of a second's difference in the timing of your cues makes, and his choice of camera angles, different dogs, split-screen contrasts, and slow-motion selections REALLY highlights exactly what you need to be focusing on to improve your handling. Helped me a lot! (Well, when I review it every six months or so!). If you use this type of handling system, you really ought to have this DVD (yes, despite the rather high price). |

Clarity and consistency make this system a pleasure to learn and use. The beauty of the dvd, what helps make Greg's 7-jump 'box' exercices so clear, is they are filmed from above, and in addition, in slow motion. (Making the work accessible even to non-English speakers in other countries.) An accompanying booklet gives all diagrams for seven basic handler manoeuvers, and combinations (if you're a 'visual' user you do have to make the effort in deciphering and drawing in the handler path)
Don't be impatient to go too quickly, make sure you do the 'Foundations' first, the first dvd in this set. You and your dog will use these exercices again and again... and become a great and confident team! |

| It is nothing short of amazing watching Greg Derrett and his dogs. This is a great DVD that comes with a booklet showing the courses. You will have to do a lot of rewinding to re-watch parts and may feel frustrated at times that your dog will never do that (!) but you will really improve and get some great training ideas from this DVD! |
