Expanded Description:
Many agility folks have been asking for a clicker training book focused on agility - and finally we have one! Introduces the concept of the Click and Play Pyramid, which helps keep your clicker training on track. The pyramid is made up of five layers. The bottom layer that everything else build on is attention, both the dog giving the handler attention and vice versa. Consistency, the next layer, is critical to the dog's learning process. Consistency leads to the next layer, which is attitude and motivation. Are both you and your dog having fun? Fun can be exciting and excitement can lead to issues with self-control. Self-control is the fourth layer. Both dog and handler self-control are critical to a team's success. The pinnacle of the pyramid is the concept of Win training. Help yourself and your dog be the best agility team you can be!

Love this book!!!, July 4, 2009
Reviewer: Mikaela Marr
This is the greatest agility book I have ever read! This book has made me think about how I train my dogs, and it also helped me create things to use for my clients and training classes. Thank you Dogwise for having this book for people to buy! Even if you don't do agility there are things in there that you can use for obedience, flyball, and many other dog sports.

Great book!, January 7, 2009

This book is great to have even if you don't have plans to train agility. It covers much foundation work that all dogs could use. The games are clearly described and are fun for both you and your dog. The games to increase attention are EXCELLENT. Seriously if training groups would incorporate some of them in their curriculum for all their obedience classes there would be much better behaved dogs in this world. Definitely worth the purchase price!

This is a fantastic book. It is so full of information and tells you the what, the why and the how which is really great. Tons of well described games and explanations of how these games work in a progression of training. Also handy charts in the back to keep track of your progress. Really recommend this one!
