This is as entertaining as it is useful. I have used this working test to select my own personal pups, and to help my clients select dogs for use in the hunting field, on the Schutzhund field, the obedience and agility ring, for herding and for search and rescue. It makes it so clear to distinguish which pups have the utmost in confidence, and prey drive. Time and time again this test has proved the breeder wrong simply because they didn't conduct any testing over and over to see which pups could sustain the drives, and which lacked stamina.
The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish that Sheila would do a DVD now, and provide a test booklet to go along with the audio or DVD. |
