Very informative, December 24, 2008
Reviewer: Nick H.
This is an incredibly indepth look into dog behaviour and training. I found it to be a valuable read and intend to keep this for reference for years to come. If you can handle the shear amount of information in this book, you will learn quite a lot.

lots of good information, September 29, 2007
Reviewer: Patricia Riley
You will certainly learn a lot if you have the patience to read through this scholarly text. Written in a more technical style, the writing is not 'reader friendly.' A lot of the information is mostly a collection of other studies brought together in one convenient volume. Worth the read, but this is not something you will finish in one night; I found I needed to read a section and then come back to it later, to digest the information.

The Science Of Learning, December 20, 2006
Reviewer: Dave Port
This is the most complete book on canine behavior that I own. It is also the most difficult book to read that I own. The sheer volume of information can be overwhelming, but when you finish this book you will know more about your dog's nervous system and behavior than you ever thought possible. More illustrations of the various brain structures would make chapter three easier to understand.
