Short, sweet, to the point; Loved the format, August 9, 2008
Reviewer: Crystal Saling
I loved the format. Melissa Alexander is a writer after my own heart- she keeps things to the point, getting a lot of information in a short amount of space. I loved the fact that you could just look up any question you had about clicker training, and there the answer would be- no extra words to filter out. I read this book immediately after attending my first clicker expo. I really recommend reading it just before or just after having a professional physically teaching it to you, but its a good read even if that's not possible.

good info, awkward format, September 28, 2007
Reviewer: RUTH
I thought that this book was great. I love all the answers that it gives to commonly asked clicker training questions. It really helped me sharpen up my explanations to people about clicker training. Every time I read it, I learn something new that I can use to improve my dog's skills but also my instructor skills. Although it does have great information and a great index and cross reference, the format is a little awkward making the book a little unenjoyable.

Useful Reference, March 22, 2007
Reviewer: JoAnna
This book is a great reference, but a little confusing for a beginner. As I understand the FAQ format comes from a clicker training e-mail list, but I wasn't a huge fan. However, the cross-referencing is very helpful.
