| All new puppy owners should be supplied with this book. If you are a breeder, shelter manager, or puppy-class trainer, you should be getting this book in the hands of new owners. This book uses positive techniques to avoid the problems that dogs end up getting abandoned over. Excellent methods. Very caring. Insights for even very knowledgable trainers, while being very accessible to beginners. Highly recommended. |

| This is a terrific book for new puppy owners - well-written, lovely photos - an easy but comprehensive read. Very positive training perspective without being preachy. Best puppy book on my shelf - I will be recommending it to all my new-puppy clients. |
