Expanded Description:

AGGRESSION IN DOGS PART ONE: Classification, prevention, diagnosis and treatment. No matter what your involvement with dogs, it is almost certain that at some point you will have to deal with the issue of aggression. Should you work with it? Can it even be worked with? What about issues of safety? These are a few of the questions that Brenda Aloff addresses. Topics include: legal aspects of working with aggression, influencing factors and causation, classification of aggression, dealing with aggression in a group setting, working with owners of aggressive dogs, problem prevention and when and why to work with an aggressive dog. Modifying aggression related behavior problems.

AGGRESSION IN DOGS PART TWO: The "fix" protocols for working with aggression. Focus is on the specifics of how to work with aggression. Through both discussion and live demonstrations, Brenda details behavior modification protocols that are field-proven to address problems such as resource guarding, touch sensitivity, leash aggression, fearful behavior, dog-dog issues and more. 2 Parts, total running time 6 Hrs.

best dvd I own!, May 24, 2007
Reviewer: Shane Windatt
I have lent this dvd to a few of my clients with aggressive dogs, and every time I hold my breath waiting for its return! There is so much information here, and Brenda Aloff is so entertaining, that I find myself watching this video over and over. Some of it may be over the heads of the average dog owner, but I'd still recommend it for virtually everyone with an aggressive dog. Will help you put your own aggression problem in context and give you hope that the behaviour CAN be modified. She doesn't promise it will be easy. Owners are shown continuing to work on modification after an intensive 2-year training period, but it's clear that they have made tons of progress during that time. Techniques are all positive, and emphasize a patient, consistant approach.
