Very sad, October 26, 2013
Reviewer: Donna Dixon
What an awful shame these 'Steppin up' books are. They're full of ways to force and/or intimidate your dog, and I was looking for help with my Utility training. It's frightening to think that some people gave these books a positive review. Do people actually inflict pain on their canine companion who just wants to be with them? The waste of money is nothing compared to the thought that people may actually follow these proceedures.

Discouraging, October 5, 2013

This book was a let down. I purchased the book under the impression that it would be using positive training methods. I was soon to find out that she still reccomends ear pinching, prong collars and force to get your dog to learn the skills needed for open and utility. I wouldnt reccomend this book to anyone who uses positive reinforcement.

Obedience made fun, April 9, 2011

This is a great book for moving forward with your teams obedience training.
