Steve's Real Food for Dogs is a tasty freeze-dried raw chicken meat-based food for your dog. All ingredients are human-quality and are formulated to simulate the ancestral diet of dogs in the wild. The chicken used is free-range and hormone-free. Contains 60% ground chicken meat, organ meat, ground backs and necks. Raw vegetables and fruits are finely chopped to break down cell walls to allow dogs to fully digest nutrients. Food is made at human-quality meat processors under rigorous quality control standards and is flash-frozen to retain the natural enzymes. Feed it as a complete meal, add to kibble or use it when it is inconvenient to feed a fresh raw diet, as when travelling or camping. Can be fed as is or re-hydrated. Also makes a great show bait or training treat. The 7 ounce bag (net weight) is the equivalent of 2 pounds of frozen food. 30 nuggets equal approximately 2 cups of food.
Ingredients: Ground chicken (including backs and necks), broccoli, romaine lettuce, carrots, cantaloupe, chicken livers, chicken gizzards, rice bran, flaxseed, egg shell powder, tuna oil, dicalcium phosphate, dried kelp, sea salt, extract of chicory, zinc proteinate, iron proteinate, copper proteinate and rosemary extract.
Feeding Guide: 1 cup (approx. 20 nuggets) for the first 10 pounds of body weight.
Feed ½ -1 cup for every additional 10 pounds. If feeding with other foods adjust amounts accordingly.
Storage & Shelf-Life: Unopened shelf-life of over a year. When stored in a cool, dry place, shelf-life is 18 months. Once opened, will remain good for 7 - 14 days when sealed and kept in refrigerator.
