hi there, I'm not tech support <at all> but wanted to welcome you...maybe while you wait for your answer, you could check back on previous posts just by clicking on a page and then go down to page bottom where it says - "pages 1, 2....next" and that can take you back through earlier topics-

Rottie has it right - the server really only retains a certain number of topics. Unfortunately the forum software isn't the greatest.

Thanks for the welcome - I will properly introduce my self in a while - but initially I wanted to get a feel for the site. The front page says there are thousands of posts yet when one indeed goes to the bottom of the page and click next it doesn't go very far. I run a forum and know how frustrating it can be to have people ask the same question when there there is a comprehensive answer already.

Hi tresallier,
I'm a little late to reply on this topic but you can use "search" function on the upper right side of the screen and search for old topics that have been on the forum.
For instance, if I am in the search area (https://www.dogwise.com/forums/search.cfm) and type in Chihuahua, all categories, and current messages, it will bring up all forum posts related to Chihuahuas that have been on the forum. I found one as far back as 2006.

I hope this helps!
