Good Basic Intro, May 7, 2010
Reviewer: bluedogs
I have read this book cover to cover, so that says something right there! Enough detail to hold my interest, yet basic enough to be a good intro to agility. There are some basic troubleshooting suggestions that I found useful, as well as encouragement and instruction on building some of the obstacles at home.
For me this book wasn't detailed enough to be a training guide, but a very good overview with some specifics.
I would recommend it for someone just starting out or curious about agility, like me. |

Great Book For Beginners, December 29, 2006
Reviewer: Erin
This book is great for beginners in agility. It covers the basics of clicker training, finding a trainer, different ways to train the obstacles, choosing a dog/puppy, your first trial, a few plans to build equipment (contact trainer, jumps, etc.), and so much more. It also has boxes throughout the book teaching you some agility lingo. It's a great book, especially if you're just beginning agility.
