what is happening and the implications of the behavior displayed.
On Talking Terms With Dogs by Turid Rugaas. A ground-breaking
book, newly revised and expanded, it introduced the concept of
"calming signals," to the field. Most trainers and behaviorists now
agree that dogs display discomfort or stress in certain recognizable
patterns. Also available in DVD format.
There are lots of other books on this subject by authors ranging from Bruce Fogle to Roger Abrantes to Stanley Coren.
For you Cavalier fans, we have a fantastic new book in stock this week: The

It's a shame that the large dog book publishers are not producing these kinds
