The Dog Writer's Association of America's annual get-together in New York is rapidly approaching. Timed to coincide with Westminster, this a great opportunity for us to mingle with people who write about dogs as well as hang out a bit at the world's premier dog show. DWAA, in their efforts to provide more value to their members, is trying something different this year above and beyond the Award's banquet. This year they are putting on an educational seminar which will allow attendees to meet with a variety of presenters (including Dogwise Publishing) to learn more about how to promote themselves, earn more money and get published. If you are a person who writes about dogs or wants to give it a try, you should check out the program on the DWWA website.
Here are just some of the great books nominated this year for DWAA's prestigious Maxwell awards for excellence in writing in a variety of categories.
