Dear Dogwise Customer,
One of the perks of being in the publishing business is having a legitimate reason for going to New York for all of the festivities surrounding Westminster. One of those events is the annual Dog Writer's Association of America annual awards banquet where the best written dog books and articles during the preceding year are recognized. Some of the more notable winners this year were:
Our product feature this week is the line we are carrying from Dog Is Good. We are carrying their greeting cards and stickers which we found to be fun products to add to our inventory. The tasteful designs, witty notations and attractive colors let others know that we/you are truly "dog people" - best of breed!

- The Healthy Way to Stretch Your Dog DVD - A Physical Therapy Approach with Activity Specific Stretching Routines by Sasha Foster and Ashley Foster. This DVD demonstrates how to safely and effectively stretch each major muscle group. Teaches correct hand placement for joint stabilization and how to maintain good form. Stretching routines are presented for both large and small dogs, older dogs, and those that are involved in a variety of dog sports.
- Handling Common Sequences in Agility DVD by Linda Mecklenburg. This DVD contains demonstrations of Linda Mecklenburg and one of her dogs performing common sequences in agility as described in Chapter 6 of her highly acclaimed agility handling book, Developing Handling Skills. The sequences demonstrated closely parallel those in the book and should be viewed as a supplement to the text and diagrams.
- Conquering Boxes & Bonus Lines DVD by Amanda Nelson. 7 DVD Set plus CD-ROM - This NADAC Clinicians Seminar 2011 will include discussions and training necessary for both dogs and handlers for the successful handling of NADAC bonus lines and boxes. Dogs must have independent obstacle performance skills.
