Scaredy Dog! (book) and Scaredy Dog! DVD by
Ali Brown. How to diagnose and rehabilitate your fear-based reactive dog.
Lots of sound advice and practical exercises to reduce the fear factors
underlying the behaviors.
Cautious Canine by Patricia McConnell. One of our all time best
sellers, this short and inexpensive book was one of the first to
recognize the role of fear in canine behavior and offer solutions to
deal with it. If you are a trainer, this is the book you should
recommend to students who have "shy" dogs. Great information
presented in a way the average dog owner can understand and act upon.
