One of the challenges that many trainers, vets, and dog enthusiasts face is getting their everyday dog owner friends or clients to buckle down and read what they need to learn about dogs. Not enough time, not enough interest, the book you like is too complicated for them - the excuses can be a mile long. Well, we are very happy to have acquired the rights to publish two short, sweet, colorful, inexpensive - and well written - booklets by Sarah Whitehead that should help address this problem:

Our Book of the Week is Citizen Canine by our good friend Mary Burch, 20% off this week, only $11.96. Citizen Canine is the new and updated guide, endorsed by the AKC, for learning the ten skills required to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. It also contains information about various programs and resources that owners of dogs who passed the test might want to engage in. This is a very well written and organized book and belongs on every dog trainer's bookshelf.
