Weekly Update from Dogwise: Meet Thinking Dog Author Gail Fisher

Dear Dogwise Customer,

Gail Fisher's new book The Thinking Dog - Crossover to Clicker Training has been one of our best selling titles since its release several weeks ago.Obviously there is a lot of interest in the subject of how to make the transition from whatever type of training you have employed in the past to clicker training. In response to this, Gail is going to be available to answer your questions and discuss issues raised in her book on two internet forums. Beginning on April 10th, Gail will be available on the APDT BarkBoard forum for those of you who are APDT members. She will also be available on the Dogwise Forums from April 27 to May 10. Take advantage of these chances to kick ideas and questions around with Gail about this timely subject.
Couple relatively new items to tell you about this week that we have not had a chance to get to before:
- Ready to Rally! A Video Guide to APDT Rally (DVD) by Clarissa
Bergeman. APDT Rally is becoming increasingly popular and we are
very pleased to have a DVD version to clearly demonstrate what you
need to do to succeed in this fun sport. Includes signs and bonus
exercises from Levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Mike Toy and Leo Toy from Canine Genius. Odd names, great
interactive toys. Sort of a hybrid between a chew toy and a Buster
Cube, designed to be stuffed with food. The toys can be connected
together for a different look and food can move between them. A
good mental puzzle for your dog!
