While Dogwise Publishing prides itself in trying to be on the cutting edge of things when it comes to new dog books, we also work to keep alive some of the real classic works that have helped provide the foundation of knowledge that modern researchers have been able to build on. Most of these classic books were ones that you folks kept asking us for once they went out of print and were no longer easily available - and for that, we thank you!
We learned a long time ago that if enough customers were asking for an old book, then it was worth trying to get it back in print. Fortunately some of these books had expired copyrights and/or we were able to find the rights holders who were happy to work with us to bring the books back. While some of these books may have been written before you were born, they can be very helpful in understanding what "experts" thought back then (rightly or wrongly) and how they influenced later books as well. We are putting the "Classics" listed below on sale through March 31st at well below the suggested retail price to help encourage those of you interesting in looking back in time!
