Agility for Starters - From Zero to Hero in 101 Exercises by Connie Sellers. From the UK, this is probably the best beginner book on agility on the market today.
Love is All You Need by Jennifer Arnold. Jennifer's bond-based approach to working with dogs is really catching on in the training community.
Training Dogs by James O'Heare. Known for his academic works, this book is written for dog owners and presents an overview of basic behavioral and training concepts.
Downward, Dog! How To Deal With a Dog That Jumps Up by Mike Deathe. Such a common problem, so often reinforced unknowingly by owners - but it can be solved.

Puppies DVD featuring Turid Rugaas. Growth phases, mental development, education and activities designed for young puppies.
