We just returned from our second International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) Conference, which was held in Warwick, R.I. last weekend. The feedback that we received from the attendees who we met at our book booth was that it was a successful conference with informative speakers. These dogs have the jumping skills but cant put them together with handler motion, which prevents the team from coming together and being in sync.
Advanced Concepts in Motivation with Michael Ellis. The goal of this training is to teach dog trainers how to turn a reward into an event for their dog. When trainers can learn these skills they are going to be able to manipulate the motivation and drive of their dogs.
