We have been waiting (impatiently!) for Karen Pryor's new book ever since she mentioned to us that she was working on one over a year ago. As most of you well know, Karen is really the godmother of clicker training with dogs. Marking and reinforcing a behavior that you want an animal to learn/repeat was a major conceptual breakthrough at that time and is now widely accepted in the dog world today. Her new book - partly autobiographical - relates how all this came together, the ways clicker training works with a wide variety of animals, and what it can tell you about the inner workings of the animal mind.
