Weekly Update from Dogwise: Breed Book Sale! |

Dear Dogwise Customer,
We are pleased to announce a big sale on our entire stock of breed books - 25% off regular price from now until August 1st. This is in addition to a number of breed books which have been marked down that you can find in our Bargain Book section. While we are happy to be able to extend these special prices to our customers, it is a bit sad, as we have noted before, that the demand for breed books has been declining now for several years. This seems to be due to fewer people registering and showing their purebred dogs as well as the amount of free information that can now be found on the Internet. For a company like ours that really got its start selling lots of breed books at dog shows, it makes us nostalgic for the good old days, but times do change. Note that we do have a large number of high quality breed books, that unlike some of the "beginner" breed books, are real treasures with information and photographs you won't find elsewhere. Many of these books - subject to the same lack of demand - may not remain in print much longer. So if you do want to own one of these and have it as a reference book and as a means to share information with other owners, this is a good opportunity to grab one or more at a great price.
