Getting a Grip on Aggression Cases - Practical Considerations for Dog Trainers includes everything you need to know and be aware of if you are a trainer who takes on this type of challenging work. Given how critical the stakes are - for you, the owner, and the dog - you must build up as much expertise as possible in terms of assessing the situation, how to take a history, the ability to teach the owner the right set of skills to manage his or her dog, and how to keep all involved safe. While you may not be successful in every case, Nicole's book will improve the odds that the dog can be trained and managed in such a way that their aggressive tendencies can be minimized.

Although later than usual this year, we now have our full complement of 2009 Breed Calendars from our two major suppliers. These are 16 month calendars with two choices available for nearly every breed. Note that these calendars do not just include show dogs, although many of them are - so for you purists, don't expect each dog to be a perfect reflection of the breed standard.
