Normally we send these updates out every Wednesday, but with so many people heading out for vacation over the Labor Day weekend - and with some pretty exciting news this week - we thought we should put this together and get it out today.

First is the arrival of a great new book from Patricia McConnell and Karen London on a topic that our customers just can't seem to get enough these days: Play Together, Stay Together: Happy and Healthy Play Between People and Dogs. Play between owner and dog is increasingly being recognized as a great way to build your relationship with your dog, it can be used in training, and provides the dog a great way to get both physical and mental exercise. This the fourth collaboration between these two top trainer/authors, and like all of the others this book should be popular with both trainers (for all the good training ideas) and owners alike.
