Dear Dogwise Customer,
Many of you are familiar with our dog show booth operation run by brother and sister-in-law Bill and Judy Woodward. They constantly travel the entire country (click here for where they will be in the coming weeks) giving you the chance to experience what we think is the largest collection of dog books you will ever see. Every once in a blue moon they actually show up here in little old Wenatchee to take advantage of the chance to re-stock and re-load - and, to your advantage - return to us a bunch of older and dinged up books. We say to your advantage because we put these books on our bargain books page giving you the opportunity to save money on what are perfectly good, but usually just slightly shopworn, books. We have been spending most of this week getting these bargain books up on the web site, and will be adding to it for the next several days.
We have had a heck of a time getting over the hump in terms of inventory control on the best selling Control Unleashed by Leslie McDevitt. Normally we can order 100 or so of a hot book like this and not run out before getting another shipment. Well....after several 100 book orders, we finally upped our target level to over 500 with the hopes that we will stop running out! So if it has not been available when you wanted to order before, now is a good time to get it. By the way, we will take several boxes full to APDT if you are planning to see us there... assuming we don't run out again!
A fun new book just came in: Rex and the City: A Memoir of a Woman, a Man, and a Dysfunctional Dog by Lee Harrington. You may be familiar with Lee's writings in Bark Magazine. This is a great read, sort of a three-way love story.
