We always like to share what the trainers lucky enough to go to the APDT conference were buying with all of you who were not able to attend. As usual, the best sellers were books by authors who were also speakers - especially the ones who put on the best presentations. So here we go:
New this week is Wild Justice - The Moral Lives of Animals by Marc Bekoff and Jessice Pierce. This book was recommended to us a couple times by APDT attendees. A scholarly look at the broad repetoire of moral behaviors, including fairness, empathy, trust, and reciprocity that animals exhibit.
Our product feature this week is the K9 Coil Leashes. They come in two different styles: non adjustable and adjustable velcro hands-free leash. These great leashes have a new shock absorbing technology for reducing strain on a pet's neck and a handler's arm. The Tangle-free design, eliminates slacking, drag and tangling in legs and is great for an assistance dog.
