Weekly Update from Dogwise: The New Toolbox from Terry Ryan!

Dear Dogwise Customer,
Dogwise Publishing is very pleased to announce the release of Terry Ryan's new book - The Toolbox for Building a Great Family Dog. It's not every day that we get to say we have a new book from one of the world's most beloved and admired dog trainers, a mentor to a whole generation of trainers and one of the great leaders of the positive dog training movement. Some of you "old-timers" might remember or still own "The Toolbox for the Problem Dog," a book that was published many years ago and now long out of print. We started talking to Terry about two years ago about revising that book since it rightly was considered by many to be a real classic. Fortunately - and if you know Terry this will ring true - what started out as a simple revision quickly morphed into a new book once her creative juices got flowing. While parts of this new book were taken from her previous works, this is a new book with a new focus. Instead of focusing just on problems, the new Toolbox focuses on what you need to know and the steps you need to take to make your dog a great family dog. And the wonderful thing is that Terry makes it fun and manages to present sophisticated concepts in a way the average dog owner can comprehend, especially in her Relationship Building Program. As the title implies, another important and unique aspect of the book is that Terry brings the entire family into focus in terms of working with the dog and provides a large number of games and strategies to make sure that everyone gets to interact with the dog in a proper and safe manner. We believe this book will become an instant classic - you trainers will get tons of new ideas you can use with clients and owners will be able to develop the kinds of knowledge and skills they need to have success with their family dog.
