As we approach the holidays, here is some information that will help you get what you want and when you want it from Dogwise:

Shipping deadlines: Click here to see when you need to order to insure delivery by December 24th. The ordering deadlines from UPS and the Postal Service are to some extent worst case - they are saying order by December 10th if using ground shipping. You can probably get away with orders using regular ground shipping methods all the way up to December 16th, especially if you live in the western half of the US, but the risk increases after the 10th. Of course we do offer expedited shipping if need be.

Dogwise holiday schedule: Our customer service and shipping departments will be closed on December 24th, 25th, and January 1st.

2009 Breed Calendars: For you long time customers, you probably already know the drill on these. At this point, we have a good amount on hand of nearly every breed calendar from our two suppliers. However, our suppliers are working now with less inventory and so if we are showing that we are out of stock on a calendar, there is some chance we won't be able to fill your backorder. Not to say you should not order something we show is out of stock, just know there is some chance we won't be able to get it for you or there will be some delay. Of course we will let you know the status as soon as we know. All calendars that we still have in stock in early January will be transferred to our dog show booth and be unavailable to be purchased online after that. Bottom line - if you want calendars for holiday gifts, grab them now.

Holiday gift ideas: We have come up with a list of fun gift-oriented items for you, your kids, and your dogs. Check them out if you are scrambling to look for ideas. If you are looking for something more challenging and educational for either yourself or a friend, you can't go wrong with any of the items on our Best New Title list.
