Weekly Update from Dogwise: Rolling the Dice |
|
Dear Dogwise Customer,
OK all of you folks who rolled the dice hoping to buy your breed calendar(s) at a reduced price after Christmas. Most of you made a winning throw as we still have lots of breed calendars left in stock - for about 70% of all the breeds we carry we still have at least one in stock. Some of the more hard to find breeds are still here - Red Heelers, Welsh Terriers, Havanese, Tibetan Terriers, Cardigans. We recommend you don't push your luck too much longer, once a calendar is sold out we will not be reordering. Oh and the reduced price you ask? 50% off regular price until they are gone.
Remember we also have a big 40% savings on all of our breed books as we continue to close off that category.
Just as a reminder, our office will be closed on both Friday, December 30th and Monday, January 2nd...the web site never closes however!
Newest books & products:
- Under the Dog Star by Sandra Parshall. Something terrifying is happening to the dogs in a close knit mountain community. Pets are vanishing mysteriously around Veterinarian Rachel Goddard's veterinary clinic located in the mountain community of Mason County,Virginia.
- Following Atticus - Forty-Eight High Peaks, One Little Dog, and an Extraordinary Friendship by Tom Ryan. Relates how the author and his dog named Atticus M. Finch attempted to climb all forty-eight of New Hampshire's four-thousand-foot peaks twice to pay tribute to a friend who died of cancer and raise money for charity.
- The Puppy Diaries - Raising a Dog Named Scout by Jill Abramson. Part memoir, part manual, part investigative report, The Puppy Diaries continues Abramson's intrepid reporting on all things canine and readers with young dogs should find Abramson's discussion of "adolescence" and its setbacks particularly reassuring.
Thanks from all of us at Dogwise and have a very happy New Year!
