Positive Gun Dog Review, July 11, 2007
Reviewer: Janice Barnard
Positive Gun Dog-Clicker Training for Sporting Breeds is a wonderfully written, concise and helpful manual whose time is long overdue. The writing is clear, concise, and peppered with useful tips and facts, photos, hints and exercises. Learning theory is summarized artfully, giving both the novice owner and seasoned trainer a basic working knowledge (or review) without being overly wordy or theoretical in nature. This book should be required reading for anyone thinking about owning or training one of the sporting breeds. The authors clearly love dogs and want to help foster the human-dog bond in the 'last bastion' of 'old school' training. Bravo! Encore! Encore!
