You'll read and re-read this book!!, December 29, 2008
Reviewer: E Spencer
I adore this book, my copy has so many pages tabbed, high-lighted and written in because I read and re-read it constantly, I actually carry it around in my training bag!! I followed Susan's story of her puppy Buzz and cried I was laughing so hard. Anyone with a crazy driven dog will love it. I have now started two puppies using the path outlined in her book and I recommend it to all my agility friends. It has her 2X2 weave method in the back which is a valuable assest as well. Susan Garrett is one of the best trainers and to me this book is gold!

Must have for agility people, November 12, 2008
Reviewer: Kim Barton
I absolutely LOVE this book, it has changed the way I think about training. Susan will teach you how to use positive methods to produce high drive, speed and accuracy. It was interesting to read with easy to follow explanations. I found especially useful the multiple puppy games (which can also be used for older dogs) - not only helping to develop a highly motivated dog, but also to teach him many of the agility skills. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their dog training skills - although the emphasis is on training for agility, there is much there that could be easily transferred to obedience too. Plus of course the story of Buzz himself is thoroughly enjoyable :)

Excellent Book, August 12, 2007

I love this book. It combines basic agility training methods with advice on how to handle a wild child. I'm routinely going back to this book for techniques to train both my wild child Border Collie mix and my easy to train Sheltie/Golden retreiver mix in agility.
