Highly recommended, March 19, 2011

As with all Susan Garrett products, it's great, easy to understand and really useful. Thanks to the exercises presented in this dvd:
- your dog will love to jump as you will put so much value to it,
- your dog will understand your physical cues better
- you will be able to communicate with your dog better
- you'll get to know some simple techniques that you can use on a warm-up jump in a trial to practice some difficult maneuvers. |

Great training dvd, March 5, 2011

I got this dvd as a beginner imagining it would provide the basics I needed to know, and it does! Actually, it is all about enhancing you and your dog's understanding handling. So for a complete beginner it would be helpful to work through some even more basic foundation dvd's first, (such as 'Crate Games',Greg Derrett's 'Foundations' and Susan Salo's 'Foundation Jumping') because to get the most from the exercices the pre-requisite is your dog already knows how to jump, how to follow your body on the flat, how to sit and stay until you give a release word, and has reinforcement value for interacting with you with a toy.

I love this DVD set. It makes so much sense and it really made my dog pay more attention to my cues. And- it made me more aware of what I am doing as a handler.
