Learn about the most recent developments in the natural pet health care movement from well known international experts. Dr. Christopher Day, British Veterinary Homeopath and author explains how over-vaccination causes sometimes fatal health problems in our companion animals and how to avoid these problems. Dr. Michael Fox, U.S. and British Veterinarian and author of Dog Body, Dog Mind and Healing Touch for Dogs explains how contaminated ingredients got into hundreds of pet food brands in the United States in 2007 causing the death and suffering of thousands of animals. And Catherine O'Driscoll, author of Shock to the System and What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines, interviews both experts and pet owners about how the natural approach to animal health is improving the health of companion animals. DVD producer, Canine Health Concern (CHC), was formed by DVD narrator and host, Catherine O'Driscoll, when three of her beloved Golden Retrievers died years before their time. CHC is an international organization with supporters around the world including vets, trainers, breeders, and ordinary dog lovers.
I've known about Catherine's work through her Canine Health Concern website so I knew this DVD would be good, but it's better than good! In fact, I recommend this video for anyone desiring a more natural, healthy way of caring for your dogs. Catherine has an elegant style and a non-confrontational way of presenting the facts about canine vaccines and proper nutrition for our carnivorous canines. She interviews not only those in the veterinary profession but dog owners and breeders alike from the UK, Canada and the USA. The proof is in the pudding as they say and in this DVD you can see with your own eyes what our canines prefer to eat and how well they thrive on this diet, not to mention the low vaccine approach. If every breeder was able to hand this DVD out with each new puppy they place we begin to see a LOT healthier dogs all over the world! I applaud Catherine for her due diligence, clear and concise presentation, and most of all for caring about all the dogs in this world to put so much effort into this wonderful DVD. This is a DVD that should be on everyone's DVD rack if they own or breed canines. I personally already feed raw to my own canines, as do many of my friends, but there are still those who feel it is an inappropriate diet ... incomplete. This DVD would benefit them as it explains in simple terms how this, not prepackaged "kibbles", truly is what a canine most needs. Mary Magee
