Emma K. Grigg, Ph.D., is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, an adjunct professor of canine behavior at Bergin University of Canine Studies (Rohnert Park, CA), and a post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of California, Davis. Previously, she taught companion animal behaviour at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and has authored a number of scientific publications on canine, feline, and marine mammal behaviour. She currently lives in northern California with her husband, son, four cats, and one slightly neurotic 'island dog'.

Tammy M. Donaldson, Ph.D., has been a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist since 2003, specializing in aggression in dogs. Her Ph.D. research focused on behavioural evaluation for the detection of aggression in dogs. Her passion is welfare of all animals in rescue and she currently serves as president of The Horse Protection League (Arvada, CO). She lives with her husband, daughter, two happy dogs and a lovely horse in Golden, CO.
