    Life changing

    I first read this book in 2010 after being recommended to me by Dr Susan Friedman and Steve Martin.  Since that time, this book has literally changed my life! I implemented everything I learned within my work in zoos, training domestic species [and working with clients] and running an online animal training business!  Reading this book helps one develop compassion and empathy for others - which helps lead to conversations based on win-win outcomes! Paired with our skills as animal trainers to observe behaviour change [in this case, behaviour that indicates conversation has become unsafe] and then using the set criteria from the book to proceed has been, for me, unbelievable powerful!  It is the number one book I recommend to everyone! AND I LOVE that Dog WIse is not stocking it! Dogwise is leading the way!
