Sarah's of series of books for beginners are in the words of Goldilocks are "just right". Not too long , not too technical , they are just right. They save on handout sheets and cover the basics well. Kid friendly so the whole family can train their dog efficiently.
We hand this booklet out to students in our Beginners Obedience Class. It covers most of the behaviors we teach in the class and is easily understood with great photos. We used to give out handouts we wrote ourselves but this is much more professional looking and the pictures make it easier for students to understand the steps to training a behavior.
